Having initially manufactured the bespoke internal front cage for Richard Hammonds 110 we were pleased to be tasked with the addition of the rear section which will now provide full protection to the rear seat passengers now that the rear seats have been fitted having been supplied by Exmoor Trim.

We were able to fit the rear assembly relatively easily using our billet machined cage joints, this facilitated the fitting of the rear section without the removal of the front part.

The entire assembly is designed to fit within the confines of the soft top but still optimising the internal space. The rear section is chassis mounted as with the front giving maximum rigidity to the frame. Richard now has the option of removing this for servicing and maintenance if required.

The car is now going to be featured in the latest Top Gear magazine where you can see further shots of the car and cage.

More Qt Kit For Late Defender and Disco II Owners

Qt Services has developed adjustable panhard rods for post '02 model Defenders and Discovery II enabling the steering geometry to be correctly adjusted for vehicles fitted with a lift kit. 

These new components are in addition to our highly popular early Defender adjustable panhard rods. All are fitted with high quality motorsport specification rose joints at one end with a protective rubber overboot to keep out the worst you can throw at it.

Qt Production Starts In Canada

Development of our products in North America is now well underway. As with any new venture we will be building our product lines progressively. The first items to be available will be our extremely popular diff guards for the front axle of the Defenders, Disco I and Disco II. Also underway is the rear rockslider guard for the Disco II model.
